Throughout my educational development I have been able to obtain and sustain, a consistent grade average. To date I have currently gained my A-levels at the Billericay School and 6th form achieving the grades of A* in Art, B in Sociology and a C in general studies. I have also gained GCSEs including Cs and above in English, math's, science, history, alongside basic ICT skills and a range of other subject areas. However my main Artistic development can be seen in my enrolment to the South East Essex University for further and higher education of which I am studying to obtain a BA (HONs) in Fine Art. Throughout my initial year studied on the course the grades obtained were as follows: For thematic, technical and conceptual development I was granted a 2:1. For art and design contexts a 2:2 was obtained. For both second term studies including Introduction to studio practice and my fist Installation module I was awarded in both 2:1. In approaching my second year I have continued to keep up my grade attainment currently this semester I have achieved a further 2:1 for site specific practice and Research Methodologies, Literature Review. In addition to my grades I have also began the process of undertaking and communicating within social networking sites. Through this I aim to communicate informally with other members, post messages and use photo documentation to advertise and showcase my recent art work. Other development processes have included further exploration and visits into exhibitions, galleries and shows for greater understanding and inspiration.

Collections/ Private sales:

During my educational experiences both at six form and university to ensure creative development I also undertook a number of private art sales. These sales not only allowed a small financial income for further development but created an understanding into management, organisation as well as the necessary communication needed between client and artist to bring an idea to reality. My first initial art sale came after a worker at the Coryton oil refinery noticed a portrait I was displaying at the company and was brought once the pieces display time had finished. Other sales include a single commission child portrait, a further animal portrait commission and Family portrait. Most of these commissions were obtained through observing my work at small group competitions or more recently a commissioned piece for the Billericay Educational Trust. As I am a grantee for this charity, I was asked to develop and produce a final piece to be given as a retirement present to the clerk of the trustees under the understanding that it would reflect both Billericay and the organisation.

Awards and Grants:

Upon entering university I was fortunate in obtaining the assistance and the provisions from the Billericay Educational trust for both my first and second year in education. The foundation allowed financial assistance into artistic instruments, tools that enabled me as a beneficiary to carry on my studies in Art. As stated earlier other competitions have included being awarded the winner in the visual art category at the Essex schools showcase of Arts in Chelmsford.
